Why We Built This
We build OrderX, an order and execution management system for crypto trading. Buyers evaluating professional trading terminals kept asking us the same questions: who else is in this market, what do they do well, and where does each one fit.
This site is our answer to that. It is a vendor's map of the landscape we compete in — useful, we hope, but written by an interested party. We have tried to be accurate and fair about the other platforms here, including where they beat us.
What We Think Matters
Every terminal is evaluated across 7 weighted criteria. Our scoring reflects the priorities of a professional trader evaluating a platform for real-money use:
How We Handle Cross-Asset Comparisons
Comparing Bloomberg Terminal (a $24,000/year institutional platform) against TradingView (starting at free) in the same scoring system requires care. Our scores reflect objective capability in each criterion, not relative value for the price. This is why Bloomberg scores overall despite its prohibitive cost — its capabilities in data, news, and reliability are genuinely best-in-class. Value-conscious traders will weight the Pricing & Value criterion accordingly.
We also score crypto-specific capabilities explicitly. A terminal that scores 10.0 on Asset Class Coverage in traditional markets but cannot support perpetuals futures or multi-exchange crypto execution reflects that reality in its crypto-specific breakdown.
What These Comparisons Cover
Each page describes a platform's capabilities across the criteria below, drawn from the vendor's own public documentation, pricing pages, API references, and product materials as of the date shown on that page.
We do not assign numeric scores to other companies' products. We have not run controlled benchmarks against them, and we are not in a position to — we are a competitor, not a lab. Where we characterise another platform, we are summarising what they publish about themselves plus our own read of the market.
Products change constantly. If something here is out of date or wrong, it is worth checking with the vendor before you rely on it.

TradingTerminalReview is published by OrderX. OrderX is one of the platforms covered on this site.
So this is not an independent review site, and we do not present it as one. Read it the way you would read any vendor's comparison page — we have an obvious interest in the conclusion.

Update Policy
All terminal reviews are updated at minimum annually, with priority updates when major platform releases affect scored criteria. The "last updated" date on each review reflects when the content and scores were last verified against the current platform version. Bloomberg Terminal's core capabilities are relatively stable; crypto-native platforms like OrderX update more frequently and are reviewed more often accordingly.
